Ciabot Rosso has always been the name of this country home in the lexicon of the grandparents, who, living in Cherasco, ran this rural fund with sharecroppers. Neglected for years, Ciabot Rosso was gradually recovered since the early 80’s, with adaptations as conservative as possible.
Over time, energetically and structural adjustments were made: a photovoltaic system of 20 kW which energizes the entire property; an outdoor swimming pool and an elevator that allows for better accessibility on the top floor.
There is a playful aspect that saw the creation, in collaboration with close friend Mario (called SuperMario), a fantastic tree house and a thousand other fanciful details, with the functional recovery of everything imaginable, like the great-grandfather’s buggy, the barrel staves, the piles of old vines.
The Ciabot is an ideal starting point for trekking, or bike rides or horseback riding with the possibility of stages or ring. With the recovery of the forest, of the paths and of the undergrowth, has made a truffle woods sized about 17 Giornate Piemontesi (6.4 hectares), in which you can attend and participate in the search of the precious mushroom.
